Re: Trouble building CloudCompare
Solved,
So, after all that, the only thing I was doing wrong was pointing to the wrong QT directory!
Thanks for your help

Ok, so I used QT 5.2.1 OpenGL version, and made some progress... The CloudCompare project built successfuly in VS 2012 and created the correct files in the install directory. I've changed the debugging command of the Install project to point to the cloudcompare executable, and rebuilt. But when I tr...

Re: Trouble building CloudCompare
It turns out I hadn't set the path to qmake.exe in cmake. I fixed that, but still wasn't able to build the project successfully in visual studio.
Two screenshots attached, the first is my visual studio errors. The second is my cmake setup.
thanks for your help.

Some improvement suggestions
Hi Daniel, I really love CloudCompare and I use it a lot! I have a few suggestions which I think would improve my CloudCompare experience (even more!): 1. Rotate/Translate Handles. For me, one of the most commonly used functions in CloudCompare is the translate/rotate tool. This is a really quick wa...

Feature requests
Hi Daniel, Love your work, I've been using CloudCompare for a while now and it is probably the most useful software tool I work with (and I work with some rather expensive point cloud processing software!).
