2.9 alpha works perfect. Apparantly there is a hidden bug in the version 2.8 ;)
Thanks Daniel

Re: Export point cloud - Scalar field removed
Hi, I also though about the same thing. First I was using CC 2.7 so then upgrade to 2.8stereo but the problem persists. I also though that the file may be damaged. I did some tests and it is not the case. After creating the segment, the scalar field is there. A soon as i save it, the scalar field is...

Export point cloud - Scalar field removed
Hi community, i have a problem when saving a point cloud in CC. I open my point cloud (*.laz 1.2 with scalar fields "scan angle rank, number of returns, return number, TIME, intensity and classification) and I segment it using a polygon (shp). Then i save the new point cloud (segment). Apparent...

Re: Extract statistics from a point cloud
Thanks for the answer.
The problem is that I have hundreds of small point clouds (aprox 400) from which I want to obtain this data. By clicking every single point cloud and writing down all the values will take a quite a bit of time.
I was thinking, there may exist a tool for that.

Extract statistics from a point cloud
Hi there,
Can anyone tell me how can i extract basic statistics (point count, sum, mean, median, stddev, min, max) of a point cloud ?
Is there a tool or something like that (code) ?
Thanks

Extract points using several polygons
Hi CC community,
My question is, how can I extract points from a point cloud using several polygons at the same time? By using the segment tool I can select just one polygon at a time.
Thanks

Extract RGB values and append them to the point cloud
Hi everyone,
Does anybody know if it is possible, somehow, to extract RGB values from a picture/photo (made at the same time and in the same position as the laser scanner) and add them to the points (point cloud obtained from a laser scanner) as a scalar field or RGB field?
Thanks
