Thanks for your time and thoughts Daniel,
I appreciate it greatly!
I'll try for no more novels to you for at least a while ;P

Dalauney vs Poisson
Hi Daniel, I am comparing C2M with M3C2. I have read on both, and there are papers out there comparing them, which is great. I think I understand their strengths and weaknesses. Now, I ran C2M twice. Once using Delauney meshing, and one with Poisson meshing. I understand Poisson is meant for closed ...

M3C2 input Parameters
Hi Daniel, I have two questions about the calculation of the default input parameters. 1. For the core points, the value doesn't have a unit. What is the unit? The same as my data, meters? Is it a search radius? One core point in each 0.254m radius? Or is it a proportion? For example, 0.254. Can I c...

Cloud to Mesh Artifacts
Hi Daniel, I've been doing C2M, making a mesh of a high quality SfM derived dataset. All of the results (several clouds compared to this mesh) have what appear to be errors of geometric shapes. I used the same reference data to run DoD and M3C2, and the artifacts are not occuring in the results. Thi...

Re: Difference in M3C2 range in CC vs Arc
Hi Daniel, Yes, you're right. I'm talking about the "active" dropdown list. In CC, there are 5 scalar fields. (6 if you include "none"). When I export as rasters, I choose the option to export all scalars. When opened in Arc, these rasters have 6 bands. Example of range in data: ...

Difference in M3C2 range in CC vs Arc
Hi Daniel, I have performed M3C2 on several clouds against my reference. The resulting data contains 6 bands. In CC they are listed as 1. none 2. SD of compared cloud 3. SD of reference cloud 4. Change significance 5. Distance uncertainty 6. M3C2 distance I recorded the range of values in each band ...

Why not Mesh to Mesh distances?
Hi Daniel, I understand how c2c, c2m, and m3c2 work, I think. I know there are pros and cons of each method, especially as they relate to the quality of the data sets being compared. For me, I have a very nice, high quality, UAV SfM derived cloud of my target as a reference. Then I have very poor gr...

I'm not sure I follow. I'm using the newest version.

Interpolation of Raster
Hi Daniel,
I'm outputing my scalar results as rasters (this will let me investigate their stats), and I believe I have chosen to interpolate in the export window, but the results are not interpolated.
Is it not the "interpolate SF" toggle?
Thanks,
Lindsay
