Re: qCANUPO (classifier files, etc.)
So I am testing on 2.10.1 , I have also tried the "vegetTidal"
-metric data, metric .prm files.
how to troubleshoot ?
press "ok" , it works for a few minutes, then crashes.-metric data, metric .prm files.

Re: Can I trust the units ?
Thank you, but... now I am confused, coordinates were in EPSG:32635 - then shifted to keep precision on import , scale is 1.0000
are my volume calculations in meter at all then ?

Can I trust the units ?
I load an .las with EPSG:32635 coordinates. then I do some volume calculations on it, and get results like : Volume: 221.971 Surface: 979.000 ---------------------- Added volume: (+)232.278 Removed volume: (-)5.052 none of which contain any units... how can I be sure that CloudCompare did understand...

Re: How to Calculate stockpile volume
Sounds good, except I don't see 'Mesh > 2.5D triangulation'
I tried
"Edit"->"Mesh"->"Delumay 2.5D XY Plane"
then
"Edit"->"Mesh"->"Sample Points"
seems to work great, thank you.

how to flatten an area ? (for later 2.5D comparsion)
I wish to compare an sloping area to the same volume it would had if it were empty. started by selecting an area, then cloning it. How can I flatten the clone to it's outline ? , keeping the outline elevation, and interpolating everything inside should give sort of realistic "ground level"...

Re: How to Calculate stockpile volume
using 2.9.1 distributed as a snap. I could try but it was trivial to workaround the message, using Constant wont work well on sloping area. Right now, I have cut out the area of interest, and cloned it, now I need to find a way to smooth it out to be just flat between the polygon edges, or otherwise...
