Losing data on LAS export

Hi, I'm new to CC so this may not be an actual bug, but I'm having an issue exporting .las files. I'm trying to use the Multiply/Scale tool to scale some mobile LiDAR point cloud files from grid to surface by a scale factor, but I'm losing the overwhelming majority of my points upon export (ex: one file originally has +/- 27,000,000 points; after export it only has +/- 2,000,000). All of the points import into CC, so I know they're coming in fine. I have tried using both the highest and original resolutions of the data on export. Is this an issue with the Global Shift, or a setting I need to change before I export?

Which version are you using? And what scale factor are you applying typically?
