Spherical Parameterization

I read through the documents and did not find any reference for this feature. Spherical Parameterization of cloud or meshes is very useful for visual comparison of two models (That is inflating the model to become a sphere with least possible distortion). It is used heavily in Neuro-Science and medical image processing. FreeSurfer offers this feature for limited file formats. It would be nice if this feature can be added to CloudCompare.

That's interesting, I'll add this to the TODO list.

However it would be good to get the help of PhD students for this kind of 'research' tools...
