Disappearing photoscan images

I am trying to load two photoscan images into Cloud Compare. One has 77 million points the second has almost 85 million points.
When I load the second one and I am trying to orient it on the screen, prior to segmenting the image, it responds very slowly and in a jerky fashion. Then it suddenly duplicates itself so there are many overplapping images. Then it disappears off the top left hand corner of the working panel and cannot be retrieved. However it is still registered as present in the DB Tree panel.


The other image does not behave in this manner and is amenable to segmentation.

Please can you help?

Does the second 'image' (cloud) has huge coordinates maybe? Does CC suggest to apply a 'global shift' maybe?
