C2C distances data extraction

Post by larvi_sourlems »

When extracting the Cloud2Cloud distances, the top and bottom values for each class data are different. For pairwise comparison, it would be better to have classes of the same size. The comparison cannot be made because the csv file is referring to classes of different sizes.

Is there a way to extract the data in a different manner such that the class sizes are the same?

In addition, I have noticed that it is only possible to generate histograms with that data. Would it be possible to extract it in a way that a boxplot could be generated for easier to read data representation?

Thank you.

Yes, you should extract the raw data by exporting the cloud (which holds the distances) as an ASCII file. You can then process it in a separate tool (such as Matlab or Excel) and build your own histograms.
