[FIXED] Crashing when doing Raterize grid

Hello,

I have open an STL file to CC. I make it first to a cloud in Edit > Octree > Resample.

Then I want to make Raterize points - but as soon I click OK to make the points, then CC is crashing??

Why is it doing that? Hope there is a solution or a workaround to this issue!

Hum, that's strange.

To isolate the issue, can you save the cloud (in BIN format for instance), close CC then re-open the cloud (not the STL) and try Rasterize again? If CC is still crashing, then send me the BIN cloud (email: cloudcompare [at] danielgm.net).

Otheriwse it might come from the STL importer (in which case I'm more interested in the STL file).

P.S.: it may be better to use the "Edit > Mesh > Sample points" to transform a mesh into a point cloud.

Forgot to update this thread: the issue has been fixed in the 2.5.4 version.
