How do I apply RGB data to a cloud?

I want to apply rgb data to a cloud point from an image and or .tiff file. Anyone know how I can do this?

Sadly, CloudCompare doesn't' allow to do that...

Hello,
One way to do it is to load the image file as a cloud with the Ellipse marking plugin. Then remove the colors (RGB) from the target cloud and move the image cloud in vertical direction to overlap the target cloud. After that, select both clouds and use Edit|Colors|Interpolate from an other entity.
The method is perhaps not 100% accurate, but it works.
