Hi Daniel,

I've a similar problem that Kelly : viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1254&sid=7099e28284 ... 02b2ba1f1d

I have downloaded your latest 2.6.2 beta version but I still have the similar problem.
When I'm merging my 2 objects, the mesh result is correct but the texture is not properly applied.

Like Kelly, I put my 2 obj files in a zip.

Thank you very much for you help.

Indeed, in your case both meshes have the same material name but with different texture files (this was overlooked by CC).

This is fixed now. You'll find the beta version here:

Thanks for the feedback!

I am having the same problem. I downloaded the latest version of CC but it still persists. I merged my two obj files and saved it as a bin file. This displays properly but if I save it to a new .obj file the texture is is incorrect. Any help would be appreciated as I am a very new CC user.
Thanks Apollo

With the 2.6.2 beta version? Can you send me your files then?

Sorry for the delayed response. What is the best way to get the files to you. Would Google drive work for you.

Yes it's perfect. You can send me a link to a shared file to 'cloudcompare[at]danielgm.net' (replace the [at] by @).

For the records: the issue was due to the fact that two textures had the same filename (but they were originally loaded from different folders). Once saved together in the same folder (next to the OBJ file), one was overwritten by the other.

CC will now be more cautious ;). The latest online beta version (2.6.2) has been updated.
