How do I move selected points in CloudCompare?

I would like to edit the position of a selection of points in my point cloud. Is this possible in CloudCompare?
You can either manually segment the cloud or extract a subset of points based on a scalar value for instance. In both cases you'll get a new cloud that you can then move around (once again manually or by inputting a rigid transformation).
And you can even convert the coordinates to a scalar field, modify its values with the 'SF Arithmetic' tool and then transfer the values back to coordinates.
