Simulation of cad model

I was trying to use simulator (create scan) to get panorama (360*360) of cad model (*stl/ply) from known position of the scanner, but no success.
In fact I need to overlay/compare two panoramas:
1: panorama of scan obtained by scanner software
2: simulated panorama of cad from exactly the same position(1)
Do you see any possibility or trick/software to do this task.

I don't think you can generate a 360 x 360 degrees pano with a sensor object in CC.
