Beta version of 2.8 for Mac OS X 10.10+.

I have downloaded the beta version. It was running well except only one thread was allowed to run. Is it possible to make this beta a full version so it can use all the threads to speed up the reconstruction process? It will be much appreciated. Or there is any other method to deal with it?

Are you referring to the Poisson Surface Reconstruction plugin? I believe the Mac OS version can't be compiled with OpenMP (the third party library used by PoissonRecon for parallelism). But we should wait for Andy's confirmation.
