hello,
why after we compute gauss distribution and look at histogram a color map is produced but when i change some option like show NaN/out of range in grey or click a symmetrical color scale the color map on the cloud changes in color ? and these colors explains what exactly ?

This is because by default the color scale is 'relative' (it adapts to the minimum and maximum values in the scalar field). If you want to get a reproducible / fixed color scale, then you must create your own 'absolute' color scale.
