Extrac contours according to a certain path

Hi all!
Hopefully this can be done somehow. I have a scan of a complex tunnel in rock. I would like to generate a contour plot (polyline) of the tunnel walls from a certain distance from the tunnel floor (for example 1 m up from the floor). One can of course use the "Cross section" tool for this, but the problem with that method is, that it only generates planar sections (and with manual accuracy), while my tunnel inclines in some places up, is planar in other places and in some places it inclines down in elevation.
So, is there a way to use the centre line of the tunnel alignment (XYZ list of the tunnel floor elevation) and tell CloudCompare to project contours of the tunnel walls according to that 3D polyline. If a mesh is needed in this operation I can compile an enlarged (in X-Y direction) 3D mesh of the tunnel floor, so that the mesh cross-cut the tunnel pointcloud.
Hopefully I managed to explain my problem and somebody has a nice solution to this.
Best regards!
