Aligning Point Clouds Without GCPs

Hi,

I'm relatively new to CC.

I have generated two point clouds and need to align them, unfortunately the GCPs collected are unusable.

Is it possible to align the two point clouds manually? And if so how?

If you have recognizable common points in both clouds, then you can use the 'Align tool". And if you are able to roughly register the clouds (with the Align tool or even manually with the Rotate/Translate tool) the you can play with the automatic ICP registration tool.

Make sure to read the documentation of these tools carefully (there's also a lot of messages on the forum about theses topics ;).
