How to feature of the braking mark on the road

Hi all,

I have a question that I have been wondering about for some time. I was laser scanning of the car accident site using Faro Focus S150. It was a night so the final scans were represented by intensity. But is possible using CloudCompare to feature some marks on the road? For instance the braking mark? How to use scalar field to make this mark more visible for investigation?

Thank you for any advice.

Regards,
Jakub

So you have an intensity scalar field in the end? Maybe you can try to change its dynamics (with the 'SF arithmetic' tool, applying some exponential function to it, etc.) or try to compte the SF gradient?

Don't hesitate to send me a sample cloud so that I can look at it and try on my side (admin [at] cloudcompare.org).
