Georeferencing OBJ to DWG file

Hello,
I'd like to georeference an OBJ file to a 2D CAD file (DWG format) and am not sure if CloudCompare supports this capacity. The DWG is an architectural footprint of an Italian city, and the OBJ file is a scan of a model of this city based on that footprint. Can you georeference an OBJ file to a 2D file in this software? If not, what other options are out there? Thanks very much for your time and help!

Hi,

No, sadly the DWG format is not supported (DXF only) and 2D registration won't work in the general case.
