I keep running into an issue where I cannot export animations in mp4 format. Currently the files are rendered and the export to my desktop is completed. The file on my desktop is just that... a file. When looking at the properties of the file on my desktop it just reflects as a "file" and doesn't denote mp4 format. Ultimately the issue is the animation file cannot be viewed by either windows media player or VLC. I've tried numerous times and same issue.

Is there a setting that I am missing? Anything that I should double check?

Hum, have you tried with other codecs maybe? (on the right side)

Codecs depend a lot on what's installed on your system, and some might work, while some others don't seem to be effective (or maybe they are not properly handled by the library in charge of the video creation).
