Hi all,
I have tried to copy all the steps from the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH8-8Ix1V_w
It is a dutch video about Elevation Maps of the Netherlands. I downloaded the 0,5 DTM file and opened it in CC.
This file is a flat file with no Z coordinates. In the video the guy selects the file, goes to edit, scalar fields en clicks on "Set SF as coordinates".
This option is grey in my file. The weird thing is that i exactly followed his steps, downloaded from the same website and all.
Can one of you guys help me with this problem?
The goal is to get a realistic view of the terrain and transfer it to a CSV file so i can make a Toposurface from it in Revit.
Thank you in advance
Set SF as coordinates
Re: Set SF as coordinates
When you load a TIFF file, you should see a new folder with the image filename as name, and below it a 'cloud' entity (with the file base name, but not the extension). Make sure to highlight the 'cloud' entity in the DB tree and not the group. You should then have access to all the tools/functions that apply to a cloud (assuming your cloud has a scalar field, which should be the case for most of TIFF files).
